Privacy policy

Adelaide Picks is operated by Joel Bauer (Adelaide, South Australia). This page explains what data is collected when you visit and how it is handled.

What we collect directly

Nothing, unless you write to us. The site has no login and no comments. If you use the contact form, the details you type (your name, business name, website, email address and message) are sent through Web3Forms to our inbox and used only to reply to you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are popular and how visitors find us. Google Analytics records anonymised information including pages visited, browser type, country and referrer. You can opt out via your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services on its partner sites page.

Outbound clicks to listed businesses

When you click a website or booking link on this site, you are redirected to that business’s own site. We do not track what happens after you leave us. The destination site has its own privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with the “Last updated” date refreshed.
