Things to do in Adelaide in November 2026
Free days out, a whisky night and the big gigs. Dates and prices are as published by the organisers and official tourism listings.

November in Adelaide is busy. Here are the things I would plan around, with the date, place and price as published by the organiser or the official tourism listing. Where a page does not list a price I say so. I only call something free when the official page says free.
A short note on dates: the weekday names come from the organisers' pages or are counted from them. Check the event page before you head out, because times and programs do change.
Festivals and free days
Feast Festival, 1 to 22 November
Feast is Adelaide's LGBTQIA+ arts and cultural festival. This year's theme is JOY and the festival says it has more than 80 events across Adelaide and regional South Australia. The South Australian Tourism listing shows prices from $0 to $70, so some events are free and some are ticketed. Check each event page for its own price. The full program is at feast.org.au.
Warm-up: the Opening Night Street Party is on Hyde Street on Friday 30 October at 6pm. The page lists it as free.
Picnic in the Park, Sunday 22 November
Whitmore Square (Iparrityi), from 11am. The festival lists it as free and says you do not need to book, though you can register a ticket to add it to your calendar. It has DJs, live acoustic music, circus workshops, market stalls, food trucks, a bar and the Feast Dog Show. My Cherie warms up the crowd for headliner BVT.

National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant, Saturday 14 November
The Tourism listing calls it a free community event and says it has run since 1933. It also says spectators watch from behind the Blue Honour Line. The pageant's own site confirms the date. I could not find a 2026 start time or route on the pages I read, so check christmaspageant.com.au before you pick a spot.
A whisky night
Whisky night at Admiral's Quarters, Monday 9 November
At Admiral's Quarters, upstairs at Hains & Co, 23 Gilbert Place. It starts at 6:30pm and is billed as one night only. The venue's page does not list a price. The venue recommends booking ahead. Same-day bookings close at 5pm. The phone number is (08) 8410 7088. I have written about the room itself separately.
Big gigs and games

These are all at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Its event pages do not publish ticket prices and send you to Ticketek to book, so I have left prices out. Book through the Entertainment Centre's own event pages.
| Date | Event | Where in the venue |
|---|---|---|
| Wed 4 November | 5 Seconds of Summer | Arena |
| Wed 11 November | Iron Maiden | Arena |
| Sat 14 November | The Wiggles: SPARKLE! BIG SHOW | Arena |
| Wed 18 November | Two Door Cinema Club | Theatre |
| Sun 22 November | Dermot Kennedy | Theatre |
| Fri 27 November | Dirty Dancing in Concert | Theatre |
| Fri 27 November | SAC Spectacular 2026 | Arena |
The Adelaide 36ers also play three home games at the same venue this month: against Brisbane Bullets on Sunday 1 November, Illawarra Hawks on Saturday 7 November and Melbourne United on Thursday 12 November.
Planning the month

The free options cluster around two weekends. On Saturday 14 November the Christmas Pageant is on, though I could not confirm the time. The Wiggles play the Entertainment Centre the same day. On Sunday 22 November Picnic in the Park starts at 11am and Dermot Kennedy plays the Entertainment Centre the same day. If you only want one thing, the Picnic in the Park page is the clearest about what is free and what you need to book, which is nothing.
